To help us develop a vital pool of potential talent, we offer a wide range of internships to the best students from hotel schools around the world. We open doors for those who are committed to creating results: more than 1200 student placements are completed in our hotels and resorts every year. And an internship is often the first step towards a career with Rezidor - promotion from within is a fact, not just a slogan in our Company: we are very proud of the fact that 90% of our General Managers have been promoted from within, some of them having started their career as hotel interns.
We have a variety of the best programmes, designed to develop our internal talent. We also offer apprenticeships in our German speaking countries as a first step towards a career in the hospitality industry. These three-year programmes are offered in co-operation with the German Chambers of Commerce and prepare participants for a great future within the industry. Many of our former apprentices are now in management positions at our hotels.
