As a crucial part of the Route 2015 target, Rezidor continuous to signal its commitment to asset-light growth strategy focusing on profitable growth through management and franchise contracts in emerging markets. Almost all openings and signings in the third quarter were fee-based and in the emerging markets of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Rezidor's current key brands are Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson, with the luxury brand Regent and Hotel Missoni in active development.

Awareness of the Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson brands is already high in the Nordic and Western European Region. Radisson Blu was ranked as the Largest Upscale brand in Europe (EU 27) by the prestigious MKG Hospitality in 2012. Both Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hold the top spot on European pipelines of new hotels, and are consistently awarded the top scores in global rankings for guest satisfaction surveys like BDRC, J. D. Powers & Associates and many others.
We aim to further build on the established reputation of these brands through active marketing and through the opening new Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. The development of Regent and Hotel Missoni brands will enable us to launch new hotels in the high-end luxury lifestyle and spa market, helping us to reach new customer groups.
We also intend to focus on opening new hotels and resorts in selected growth markets, such as Russia and other CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) countries, Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa.
