Rezidor, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide and member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, announces its 4th hotel in Tunisia: The Park Inn by Radisson Sousse featuring 234 keys is scheduled to welcome the first guests in autumn 2013. The existing property is currently undergoing a complete renovation before joining Rezidor's young, dynamic and colourful mid-market brand Park Inn by Radisson.

The group already operates a Radisson Blu- and a Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Djerba, and has a further Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Hammamet under development.

The Park Inn by Radisson Sousse is located in the heart of Sousse's city centre, Tunisia's 3rd largest city and situated between Hammamet and Monastir. Situated at the seaside and bordering the impressive medieval fortification of the UNESCO protected Medina, the Park Inn by Radisson Sousse will comprise 234 guest rooms, 3 restaurants (all-day dining, à la carte, pizzeria & barbecue) as well as 4 different bars and 500sqm meeting space including a ballroom.

The property was one of the first hotels in Tunisia to offer Thalasso treatments, so post-renovation, also the Park Inn by Radisson will showcase over 2,000sqm of Thalasso and spa facilities. Guests will enjoy indoor and outdoor pools as well as direct access to a 200m sandy beach, considered amongst the finest in Tunisia.

The signing of this hotel strengthens Rezidor's strategy to establish contemporary properties in resort locations to balance the group's portfolio and to enhance the offering of the attractive Club Carlson loyalty programme that applies to more than 1,300 Carlson Rezidor hotels across the globe.
