The Rezidor Hotel Group, one of the fastest growing hotel companies worldwide, announces the Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam Schiphol. The 150 rooms-property is scheduled to open in Q3 2012, and will be Rezidor’s very first Park Inn by Radisson hotel in the Netherlands. Park Inn by Radisson is a young, fresh and dynamic mid-market brand offering a reliable and personalized stay, and great value for money.

Rezidor is one of Europe’s largest airport hotel operators. At Amsterdam Schiphol, the group already manages a Radisson Blu Hotel with 279 rooms.

The Park Inn by Radisson is being developed in a former office building within the Schiphol-Rijk office park, one of Amsterdam’s largest business areas which houses global players such as KLM, TUI Airlines, and Nokia Siemens Networks. The distance to the airport is 5 kilometres – a shuttle bus will connect hotel and terminal in 10 minutes only. Besides 150 modern and comfortable guest rooms, the new hotel will comprise an all day dining restaurant, a bar, a gym, and ca. 150 square metres of meeting space. On the hotel’s grounds, 150 parking spaces will be available, and guests will benefit from attractive “park & fly” packages.

The hotel investor is Chalet Group (CG), a privately held investment management company that owns and operates approximately 90 commercial properties located throughout the Netherlands and Germany. One of CG’s specialties is the total turnaround of former office accommodation into new commercial, leisure or even residential centres. CG’s hotel branch will hold its first Park Inn by Radisson hotel at Schiphol, whilst continuously looking for more opportunities in (North West) Europe to cooperate with Rezidor in new hotel ventures.

Park Inn by Radisson was created in early 2003 and has grown to more than 145 hotels in operation and under development across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Main development markets for the brand are Benelux, UK, Germany, and Russia.
